Welcome to Family Kayaking — a beginner-friendly whitewater experience on the beautiful Sava River. It’s the perfect way for families and first-time paddlers to discover Slovenia’s alpine nature while enjoying fun splashes and gentle rapids.
This trip focuses on safety, comfort, and pure outdoor enjoyment.
You’ll paddle Sit-On-Top (SOT) kayaks, specially chosen for their stability and ease of use. These open kayaks make the experience comfortable and stress-free — perfect for beginners.
If you tip over, simply slide into the refreshing water and climb back on to continue the adventure.
After a short introduction to paddling and river safety, you’ll head onto the river to glide through gentle rapids, splash over playful waves, and enjoy the stunning alpine scenery along the Sava.
Our friendly and experienced guides ensure the trip is safe, relaxed, and enjoyable for everyone. Families and beginners are fully supported throughout the adventure.
